NMR weekly group runs are held on Sundays at 7am.  We're back to the Merrick Mountain located at the Norman J. Levy Preserve, south of Merrick Rd and just east of the Meadowbrook Parkway.  See the Events page for our weekly group run challenges and more.

We also do evening & night group runs, holiday runs, and family runs as well.

Much of what unites NMR are the challenges and events.  These challenges are meant for fun to help motivate and to encourage friendly competition.  Some events include, The Driveway 5K, Bingo Challenges, Thanksgiving to New Year's Run Streak Challenge, Merrick Mondays, and many more.

Many NMR runners were at the beginning of their running journeys when they joined the club.  Through socially connected apps such as Facebook, Instagram, and Strava we are able to follow each other's progress and become friends.  Socially, we have had events at local pubs and in backyards. It's always good to see each other in our non-running gear.
